Alvaro Siza


Hi everyone! In this post I will talk about a famous architect.


 


Alvaro Joaquim de Melo Siza Vieira is a portuguese architect. 

He is 88 years old, he was born June 25, 1933 in Matosinhos, Portugal. Alvaro Siza is considered one of the main exponents of modern Portuguese architecture and one of the most important architects on the international scene.

Alvaro as a child wanted to be a sculptor but he enrolled in Architecture because it was his father's wish.

He has a degree in Architecture from the old Faculty of Fine Arts of the Porto University. He has also been teacher in Lausanne, Pennsylvania, Bogota and Harvard.




He has worked in buildings in several countries, but most of his projects are in Portugal. He has also received several awards and recognitions during his lifetime.

Personally I like his simplicity in his architectural works and how he uses geometric figures for his projects.

  Hello everyone! I hope you are well and have been able to rest. Today in this blog I will talk about religion in the world, a very interesting and broad topic. In the history of mankind, people have had beliefs, symbols or traditions to give meaning to life or to explain the origin of life or the universe.
